Class Representative Award (2024)
Class Representative Award (2024)
The Class Representative award is presented to elected student leaders at the University of St Andrews. The Class Rep Award indicates that a student has earned the trust of their peers and has been given the responsibility to advocate on their behalf. Students who take on the duties of Class Representative seek out and analyse feedback, present student opinions at Student-Staff Consultative Committees (SSCCs), and work with staff to make improvements to the student learning experience. Class Representatives must complete all parts of the required training, attend SSCC meetings, and submit a formal handover to be eligible for the award. The skills developed through service as a Class Representative include: Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Problem Solving, Meeting, Organisation, Conflict Resolution, Time Management, Negotiation, Public Speaking, Professionalism, Confidence, and Advocacy.
