This module offers students training in spatial analysis with GIS software and basic coding. It will consist of two parts:
Part 1 (weeks 2-10): The first part of the module will consist of methodological training on two topics: 1) learning how to use QGIS and run a Multi-Criteria Evaluation (MCE) and running spatial analysis using Python. Part 2 (weeks 9-11): In the second part, students will conduct an Independent Research Project on the topic of their choosing to demonstrate their new spatial analysis skills.
