The module provides the second half of an intensive language programme for beginners and those with Standard Grade or GCSE German. The module builds on the work done in Module GM1003. Students continue to develop their linguistic skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking (interaction and production). The module introduces beginning students of the German language to German literature and film, providing you with the skills to write a commentary on a short text or film, and encouraging to use literature and film as a resource for learning new vocabulary and enhancing your language acquisition.
