This module is based on cutting-edge ongoing research, and it extends the Department’s curriculum on Twentieth and Twentieth-first centuries Latin America as well as its provision of modules on nonfiction literature across times and regions. Students will learn to critically analyse recent literary journalistic works in Latin America while they also increase their knowledge on history and culture of the region. Additionally, students will develop creativity and communication skills in Spanish through writing practices and assessment.
