AH4163 is an opportunity to explore recent sculptures from environmental point of view. All forms of three-dimensional expression from a diverse range of locations will be considered, including everything from state monuments to informal displays of ‘yard art’. Each week, we will think about different ways in which sculpture’s properties afford opportunities for considering pressing environmental themes, such as pollution, land use, gentrification, exploitation of finite resources, waste and recycling, or erosion and disintegration.
